Why becoming a sponsor for GBT Mongoose?

For the club supports and sponsorships are a life line. This sport is expensive due to the specialised equipment and traveling involved and would be unaffordable for most people with a disability. Your sponsorship enables equal opportunities to showcase talent and hard work of our athletes.

What could a sponsorship do for you?

As a sponsor you would appear on our website and are able to expose your brand across our platforms. You may engage with us on promotional campaigns/ advertisements. Our team is willing and able to render disability awareness activities in your company.

As name sponsor your brand would appear during the televised Super Sports games.

You can declare your sponsorship as CSI project and may improve your BEE points. Employing members can improve your status as a company.

What kind of sponsorship would you like to offer?

This section gives some examples but does not limit you as a sponsor to this list

• Becoming the main sponsor / name sponsor (this entails integrating your brand with ours, sponsoring the Super Sport Franchise Team, apparel, equipment upgrades, incentives etc.)
• Sponsoring an important aspect for the team (e.g. Facility upgrade, training equipment, wheelchairs, a regular service like transport, maintenance, catering or garden service)
• Sponsoring apparel for the team (playing kit for any level of participation, track suits, casual and training gear)
• Becoming league sponsor (ensuring transportation & sustenance for the team throughout the league, officials equipment)
• Sponsor an event or activity (e.g. transport & catering for a tournament, awareness event, expo-game, workshop)
• Sponsoring a specific program (e.g. men’s/ women’s/ development/ athlete health/access to further education/ employment program)
• Offering fair job opportunities for selected members in the labour market (e.g. employing a member with a disability, offering a learnership or a bursary in a tertiary institution)
