Basketball Teams
Our Men's Team
The men’s teams compete on provincial and inter-provincial levels. At the local level there is the A division and B division team. While the A team tries to win the league, development players and advanced players are usually mixed in the B team. Through promotion and qualification within the competition format laid out by the National body for wheelchair basketball, WBSA, the club can reach the highest level in the country and participate at Franchise level in the televised Super Sport League.
Our Ladies's Team
The ladies team plays as the GBT C team in the Provincial Club Championships League and selected ladies join even the men’s teams. Ladies are selected into the North West Provincial Stinging Bees team of which GBT Mongoose prides itself being the mother body. The NW Stinging Bees compete in the Supa-Bet National Women Basketball League.

Our Development Team
The GBT Mongoose has adopted Tlamelang School as their feeder and development base. The club renders holiday camps and sometimes training days during school terms from which learners of the school benefit through training under the guidance of our experienced players and coaches. Expo games and open days complement the development program.
